For a time it seemed the press was more interested in Amanda’s failed marriage to TV presenter Les Dennis than her professional achievements, but the performer has more than proved herself as an actress.

Having appeared in some of Britain’s most celebrated series, including Cutting It and Hearts And Bones, she won acclaim in the world of theatre after landing the title role in Thoroughly Modern Millie.
