Between thirty and ninety seconds the opinion is registered as “strong” and it is at this point, most interviewers will have already decided if a candidate has made the grade.
At ninety seconds and up to four minutes, we decide if we are attracted enough to someone to date them.
Once an impression is formulated it takes three times as long for someone to change their opinion. All the while the individual is seeking new information to reinforce their original impression. No-one likes to admit they’re wrong.
